From Pact to ImPact: accelerating transitions together across borders
The KIN’s Pact community brings together a unique mix of people to work together to accelerate the climate transition. They come from a variety of backgrounds, with diverse experiences and specific expertise spanning science, practice and policy. Why? Because the climate crisis is too urgent to wait until everyone starts putting their own pieces of the jigsaw together. Moreover, climate change simply does not occur in isolation; it affects everyone. These complex challenges therefore call for a broad, systemic perspective, involving collaboration across boundaries.
Shared knowledge in action
Over the past year, 19 working groups within the Pact have put their shared knowledge into action. Over the coming weeks, you can learn about the valuable contributions they’ve made to the climate transition on our LinkedIn channel.
Cross-fertilisation within a knowledge ecosystem
Members of the Pact tackle climate challenges by entering into a ‘pact’: within this framework, they bring together a wide variety of perspectives. This is how the best insights emerge!
Together, the Pact Community thus forms a knowledge ecosystem centred on cross-fertilisation. Together, they challenge the status quo by learning from and with one another and turning knowledge into action: from Pact to imPact.
