Looking back

With indigenous speakers Semuel Sahureka, Diana Vlet and Cesar Taguba, participants engaged in open and sincere conversations about just transitions, highlighting the history of injustice, exclusion and invisibility of indigenous peoples and other marginalised communities. The gathering emphasised interconnectedness, responsibility and rights, reminding everyone that meaningful change begins with collective reflection and dialogue. Guided by the Seven Generations Principle, the event included a moderated panel and a joint activity that brought together a diverse community committed to listening, learning and connecting. This kick-off event marked an inspiring start to building the bridges needed for inclusive and just transitions, rooted in indigenous knowledge and values.

This event is organised by the KIN Pact Working Group Indigenous Liberation Month x Just Transitions Network.
