The KIN’s Pact community brings together a unique mix of people who are working together to accelerate the climate transition. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring a variety of experiences and specific expertise from the fields of science, practice and policy. Why?
Because the climate crisis is too urgent to wait until everyone figures out their own part of the puzzle. Moreover, climate change simply does not occur in isolation; it affects everyone. These complex challenges therefore call for a broad, systemic perspective that involves collaboration across boundaries. What may be a familiar structure to one person is a fresh, innovative perspective for another.

Cross-pollination within a knowledge ecosystem
Members of the Pact tackle climate challenges by entering into a “pact,” through which they bring together a wide variety of perspectives. That’s how the best insights emerge!
Together, the Pact Community thus forms a knowledge ecosystem centered on cross-pollination. They challenge the status quo by learning from and with one another and turning knowledge into action: from Pact to imPact.
